Use the information on this page to understand how NIOX Cloud® works.
To use NIOX Cloud®, you are required to create an account. Creating an account is straightforward and easy to do. Follow these steps:
One of the the fields is called ‘Device serial number’. This is required. Follow the steps below to find your serial number.
Finding your serial number is easy, there are a few ways in which you can do it. The simplest way is to locate the serial number label on the device. Simply close the device kick-stand and lay it flat. On the front panel where the feet are located is a small white label. This label contains some numbers, the serial number is the nine-digit number in the bottom right of the label. The serial number has a (21) before it.
Alternatively, you can find the serial number by turning NIOX PRO® on. Once on, wait for the device to condition to the environment. Once completed, tap the device information tile on the right hand side of the home screen.
Once you have located the serial number, the nine digit number next to 'INSTR ID:', add it into the field on the app.
Once signed-up, the system will cross-reference your device serial number. If it matches, the app will approve your account instantly. If there is a mismatch, the app will communicate with the NIOX Cloud® support team. They will then reach out to you with some questions or approve the account straight away. Communications about your account’s status will take place over email.
To login to your NIOX Cloud® account simply enter your email address and password into the first screen of the NIOX Cloud® app.
If your details match, you will be taken to the NIOX Cloud® home screen.
If there is an error, the field will alert you as to the issue.
NIOX Cloud® is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. Navigating around the app is simple. Below is an explainer of the home screen of NIOX Cloud®

If you encounter a ‘Something Went Wrong’ message, this could be for a number of reasons. Firstly, it could be that the Bluetooth connection was lost. If you are unable to see any devices in the ‘Available Devices’ window, follow these steps:
